This special ceremonial paste is hand-crafted from indigenous cacao in Tarapoto, Peru, in honour of the Uturunku.

It is grown organically under the natural shade of the jungle canopy and each pod is carefully hand-selected by our artisanal farmer to ensure the quality and potency of each block they produce. Made with love and pure intention, it is blessed and provides high-vibrational energy, with reverence for Peru's ancient ceremonial cacao traditions.

This ceremonial cacao is like no other, with scientific studies showing it to be ultra potent in levels of biogenic amines like tryptamine and phenylethylamine (PEA) for feelings of intense satisfaction, embodiment and spiritual awakening. Made only from the virgin crop, meaning the first crop of the tree and hand-selected pods. Our ceremonial cacao is a fermented and full bean, generated from milling the whole bean into a creamy, rich paste following ancient traditions.

It contains all the antioxidants and bioactive of the whole bean, with beautiful rich aromatic oils to make a therapeutic, creamy elixir once mixed into hot water.

Tested and shown to contain the highest levels of theobromine (uplifting), ethanolamides (bliss), tryptophan (joy), tryptamine (euphoria), phenylethylamine (satisfaction), polyphenols (clarity), magnesium (stress), zinc (immune) and other essential minerals. The most therapeutic quality cacao you can find, ideal for ceremonial use and health benefits. Every batch is tested and shown to be safe from heavy metals and cadmium. What is Ceremonial Cacao?

Just like wine cacao also has different grades and calibers that differentiate normal cacao to ceremonial cacao.

To be considered ceremonial grade cacao it must meet a few required factors.

Unlike conventional Cacao or cocoa powder that you might find in the supermarket, Ceremonial Grade is prepared from only 100% pure organic cacao beans that have been naturally sun-dried, hand-peeled and milled to form the paste. Nothing added, nothing removed. It is cacao is it’s purest form beautifully blended in its own full-fat to produce a creamy 100% pure block.
