Amaru Cacao Paste

The Amaru Paste is a rare, 100% organic, single-origin ceremonial cacao with unique therapeutic properties. Hand-crafted from criollo cacao in Tocache, Peru, it is organically shade-grown and hand-selected for the best potency and quality.

The Spiral in Andean cosmovision represents the Ukhu Pacha - the world below and the connection to our ancestors, and this ceremonial paste is made in honour of the Awajun tribe.

It brings uplifting, heart-opening bliss and energizing clarity, making it perfect for use in ceremonies involving movement, breath work, dance, expression, and daily use for energy, immunity, balance, and well-being. With a strong profile of sweet and fruity flavours absorbed from the Amazonian agroforestry in which it grows, it has shown it to be potent in levels of ethanolamides (NAEs), polyphenols, and tryptophan for intense bliss, mental clarity, joy, and happiness.

Uturunku Cacao Paste

The Uturunku by Seleno Health is handcrafted from indigenous cacao in Tarapoto, Peru, in honor of the Uturunku (Jaguar).

This rare and ancestral cacao is grown from wild trees in the area, making it a unique ceremonial cacao. The Uturunku (Quecha language - Jaguar) in Andean cosmovision represents the Kay Pacha - the natural world of the here and now, which makes it ideal for grounding and inner work.

The pods of the Uturunku are less dense and thicker-walled, resulting in less cacao per year, hence its rarity but producing a rich and complex flavour profile.

We recommend this cacao for use in ceremonies involving embodiment, trauma release, meditation, connection, and awakening, and for daily use to assist with feeling present, improving mental health, providing mental connection, and mind-body-spirit balance. The rarity and potency of the Uturunku make it a special and powerful ceremonial tool.
