Where it all began.
Hello, I’m Toni-Marie, Co-founder of Grounded Cup—a Melbourne-based sanctuary dedicated to sustainably sourced products that offer moments of grounding and stillness in our fast-paced lives.

The entrepreneurial spirit has always been a part of me. After running my own digital agency for five years, I found myself longing for something more fulfilling. In 2020, during Melbourne’s lockdowns, I discovered Ceremonial Cacao, a sacred plant medicine that became a guiding light. It reconnected me to my own heart, to others, and provided a sense of stillness in a time of uncertainty.

As I continued my personal journey with cacao, I felt a deep calling to share it. I began studying the ancient Peruvian traditions, learning from a local teacher and her family. It deepened my respect and understanding of cacao, strengthening my bond with its energy and purpose.
Grounded Cup was launched.
In a world filled with distractions and constant busyness, I didn’t want to simply start another business—I wanted to create a space, a reminder to pause, reflect, and ground ourselves. It’s about reclaiming our energy and realigning with what truly matters.

As the vision grew, my brother Rob joined me, and we decided to expand our mission through a coffee van. It became a way to connect face-to-face with our community, sharing the beauty of cacao alongside another cherished ritual—coffee. Over the past year, Grounded Cup has evolved in ways I couldn’t have imagined. We've created meaningful connections at Gleadell St Market, shared cacao across Australia, and hosted intimate ceremonies that bring people closer to themselves.

The journey has been both humbling and inspiring, and I look forward to infusing even more moments of grounding and joy into your life. Thank you for being part of this story.
